NASA has launched two orbiting cameras, STEREO A and STEREO B that will take photographs of the sun and beam the images to Earth. These cameras will enable scientists to forecast the Sun's activities. You can find out more about them in our article "See the sun in 3D for the first time".

Visit the Solar Stormwatch website to join in. They tell you all about solar storms and how to spot them Let your school know about it and you could use it in a lesson or school project.  Real Science - much better than a textbook!
