quiz.
What you need:
- Golden syrup or corn syrup
- Corn starch or arrowroot powder
- Chocolate sauce
- Cocoa powder
- Red food colouring
- Green food colouring
- Water
- White t-shirt, white towel or kitchen roll
- Blender

How to:
Warning: this is MESSY! Red food colouring
stains clothes and furnishings, so be careful.
Mix together golden syrup, corn starch or arrowroot powder and a
few drops of red food colouring. If you have a blender, you can mix
the ingredients in that. If the mixture is too thick, add a
tablespoon of water and mix again.
Test the fake blood on a white t-shirt, white towel or kitchen
roll. What do you think? Is it too pink? If it is, try adding a few
drops of green food colouring.

Test the fake blood again. Still not perfect? Try adding
chocolate sauce or cocoa powder to the mixture and mix thoroughly.
Remember that you can add more water, golden syrup or corn starch
to change the consistency. Add more red or green food colouring if
you need to change the colour.
Some fake blood recipes use a small amount of peanut butter. You
could try adding that too!
Keep experimenting until you get the perfect fake blood!
