Science and Plants for Schools

Make botany fun in your classroom

One of our readers, Head of Science at Didcot Girls School, emailed us to recommend the Science and Plants for Schools website as an "excellent source of inspiration for bringing plant science into the classroom."

The free resources from Science and Plants for Schools cover primary, second and A-level curricula and include worksheets, practical investigations, activities, articles and careers advice. My favourite is the growing advice which will help anyone who's not naturally green-fingered.

Our teacher in the know says "All of the resources are linked to specific curriculum areas and there are clear instructions for teachers and technicians so the experiments actually work!"

Do you have a favourite online resource? How about a new and exciting science website that you use in the classroom? Email us at and we'll feature it on the website!
