Educational resources from the Royal Society

Invigorate is the new educational resource website from the Royal Society, providing curriculum-linked science teaching resources for Key Stages 2, 3, 4 and 5. It's easy to use and search, and packed with relevant resources.

Invigorate's resources are based on the work of scientists connected with the Royal Society, such as Isaac Newton. The resources allow teachers and students to find out how science in the past is relevant to our lives today and how the latest scientific research might impact on society. This helps to put science in context and show that science is an integral part of our society.

Resources include activities for in- and outside the classroom, such as interactive quizzes, debates and practical experiments. Topics include:

  • Measuring the weather
  • Classification
  • Electricity and magnetism
  • Organisms and health

Practical activities are accompanied by links to relevant Royal Society material online, including podcasts and videos. This enables students and teachers to undertake further research to complement and expand beyond the curriculum.
