Mind the Gap has
launched its new-look website, with lots of free teaching resources
for primary and secondary school teachers. Mind the Gap
resources explore sustainability issues and encourage students to
think about their own lives and communities.
The Mind the Gap website has been updated to make the activities
fun and easy to use. The activities are available free to all
teachers and aimed at those with students aged between 8 and
12. Topics include:
- Food and drink
- Transportation
- Pollution
Mind the Gap want to know what you think of their resources. Try
out the resources and complete their short online survey. You can
win a free copy of The Curious Mind of Young Darwin, an
FSC-produced book packed with hints and tips for young naturalists
to explore the outdoors.
Working with schools across Europe, Mind the Gap is being led by
environmental education charity the Field Studies Council (FSC) in
partnership with recognised experts in environmental education.
