your job to design the universe's ultimate alien.
Aliens might exist. There are
billions of planets in our universe and we haven't
explored them all. Most of the aliens on Ben 10 have lots of arms
or wings, a long tail and scary teeth!

Will real aliens be scary with lots of wings? Probably not.
Scientists think that if aliens do exist, they're likely to be
small and bacteria-like. That's not as exciting as the Ben 10
aliens! But it would still be exciting to find life out there in
space.
Conditions for extraterrestrial folks are hostile. We're lucky
on Earth - we have lots of water and are at just the right
temperature - perfect conditions for life. So far, astronomers
haven't found another planet like this. If aliens are out there,
they'll have to cope with some pretty extreme conditions. Maybe
they'll look like these weird creatures that live under the
ocean:
It looks like it could be on another planet, but it's actually
down at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. Animals and bacteria
under the ocean can cope with little sunlight and
very hot temperatures.
Planets in our universe often experience extreme conditions -
very hot, or very cold, or atmospheres that would be toxic to us.
Maybe aliens will look like the animals at the bottom of our
