One of the things that The Aquapharm team enjoy most is going out collecting samples.

It's a great excuse to put on their wellies and waders and scrape up some more of Aquapharm's raw materials – micro-organisms. These can be bacteria, micro fungi or micro algae.

Once these have been analysed back at the lab they can be added to the LIBRARY.

This is a top secret 'bug library' – so no pictures, sorry.

But with a collection of nearly 3000 different micro-organisms, some of which might well have interesting properties, you can see why other laboratories would be interested in them. And if there's interest, Aquapharm can charge people to 'borrow' from the library.

And that's business speak for a 'nice little earner'!
