rose hand and body lotion
You will need:

340ml (12 fl.oz) water

5 tablespoons soap flakes
|
 |
70ml (2.5 fl.oz) sunflower oil
|
 |
1 and a half teaspoons glycerine
|
 |
1 and a half teaspoons witch hazel
|
 |
6 drops essential rose oil*
|
 |
2-3 drops rose colouring
|
What to do:

Place water and soap flakes in large bowl, Microwave 1-2 minutes until warm. Add oil, witch hazel and glycerine.

Whisk until the mixture cools slightly and is light and 'frothy'. Add colouring and also essential oil. Place in pretty jars and seal.

*Essential Rose Oil is extremely expensive, £40 a bottle, Essential Rose Geranium oil can be substituted or any perfume of your choice, for example Lily of the Valley and then use green food colouring.
This recipe produces a beautiful hand and body lotion, that leaves your skin silky smooth.
Note: If the mixture starts to go thick before you have managed to put it into a bottle, put it back in the microwave again for 30 seconds to make it liquid again.
