How to make your diatom baubles! |

 1.Click on the icon for the colour or black and white version. It should open in Adobe Reader; print it out by selecting File > Print. |
 2. If it's the colour-it-yourself version, colour it now! If you want to get really fancy, you could even glue on some aluminium foil, glitter, feathers, or whatever... |
 3. Carefully cut out each bauble, making sure to keep the two halves attached to each other. |
 4. Spread some glue on the uncoloured side of the two halves of each bauble. |
 5. Make a little loop of thread and place it at the end of the bauble that you want to be the top. |
 6. Fold the two halves down the middle and squeeze them together, so that the thread is trapped inside. Let the glue dry. |
 7. A paper clip bent into a hook would probably work too! |
 8. Decorate, decorate, decorate! |
