Planet-SciCast Entry Form

Hello, thanks for making a SciCast Film!
Please read the following carefully.

There are two parts to the process of entering your film into the Planet SciCast Competition:

Step 1 The online form so we have information about your movie and some other general information,

Step 2 Print, fill-in, and sign pages for your personal details, your Creative Commons license and your performers’ Participation Consent Form. Then post the lot with your film (on a disc or other format).

Don't worry, it's not too complicated, please follow the instructions as you go along. We’ll give you a checklist so you can make sure you’ve completed everything we need.

IMPORTANT:
Before you go to the trouble of submitting your film, we need to ask you if you have used any material (any images, film clips, music etc) for which you do not have appropriate permission. If you have, then we can’t publish your film – please take some time to re-edit your film so that it does not include any material we can’t publish!

If you are not sure about this, please see the following Film School page: Click Here

We will ask you more about this in the printed form, in Step 2.

Step 1

First: basic details about your film. Please fill this in and when you are happy, press ‘submit’. (After that there is more, please don't go away.)

  9. Are you, or any of your team professional film makers (i.e. earn money out of any aspect of film or television or web broadcast, including directing, writing, producing, camera work, art or design work or presentation to camera?).

Tell us a little about it, what happens in it, how you made it, and where you found the experiment. We’ll use what you write here to add some notes alongside your film, when we publish it on the website.

That’s all we need to know about  your film for now, and the next step of the process will tell us about you. However, it’s a huge help to us if you can complete the next few questions. They give us some idea of whether SciCast is working.

If you do not wish to receive such emails please tick this box.

Thanks for all that. Once you have pressed submit the logging system will give you another form to print and fill out with a unique reference code on it. That's your film's SciCast code, keep it somewhere safe and please use it if you ever need to write to us.
