Students publishing papers
Whilst postgraduate students all over the UK are slaving at their word processors to get their research into journals and be credited with ‘first author’, some very cool sixth formers have already cleared that science hurdle and sped off into their science futures. They have taken advantage of The Nuffield Bursary Scheme.

They are a dedicated bunch, working on their projects in their summer holidays. They get a bursary to support them and their reward is being able to say they have genuinely contributed to science knowledge.

We have selected a few students that you might like to read about as exemplars of this very successful scheme.
