Firstly, there was a scientist, Simon Torok, at the Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research, who suggested that it might be a scientifically scintillating question to answer.
Then, there were our major partners, who could help get the word out and give us valuable feedback. These include our colleagues from around the world who want to help link schools together
...in Singapore, the British Council and the Singapore Ministry of Education, and in Australia, Questacon - the National Science and Technology Centre, CSIRO - the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation and Project Atmosphere Australia Online.

Next, there were some teachers and scientists who told us what they thought of the idea and gave us ideas and suggestions about how to make it all work for them.
And last but most importantly of all there were the young people who helped put it all together and whose ideas are an essential ingredient of any Planet Science experiment.
Together, we form an unstoppable team. And over the next few months, more countries, more people and more results will come on board. We'll even add some more experiments too, to keep you coming back
