total spanners... party bag ideas
The party bag is, of course, an optional extra... but if you're feeling flush here's a few ideas to get you started...
- Mini Toy - cars, trucks etc.
- Small Train Set bits
- Mini Construction Puzzles (like you get in crackers)
- Polystyrene glider Kits (cheap, cheerful and appeal to all ages)
- Gel Handwarmers. These come in different shapes, some with more girl appeal, quite chemical engineering related.
- Packet of Twiglets - to practice little pig house building
- Packet of Liquorice Allsorts... as in there are 'allsorts of engineering' (Groan!)
- Rocket balloons/flying saucer balloons
- 'Inventing' pad and pencil
- A couple of bits of your favourite construction kit magnetic, brick like or whatever, especially if you can get unusual colours or shaped bits - might spur them on to ask for a whole kit for Christmas!
- Trading Cards - one card each if you can track down a pack of aviation or other trading cards.
- Nature's Engineering - if it;s the right time of year how about some sycamore seeds with their wings, or teasels to stick to woollies.
