have you got a science kid on your hands?... activities for all occasions
Some children are utterly absorbed by asking questions and observing the natural world, while others are magnetically attracted to music or art. But whatever their particular interests, most are entranced by activities like making DIY Crunchie bars, blowing giant-sized bubbles, growing plants from seeds or doing “magic”. These activities are all related to science and help them develop their understanding of how things work.
Here on Planet Science, we’ve roadtested enough activities to keep you busy for sixty wet weekends and a couple of summer holidays … at least. We’ve also found dozens of useful websites with advice, ideas and plenty of downloadable resources.
