science nursery rhymes...

Planet Science is very proud to present the bedtime booklet of Science Nursery Rhymes, starring Science Dog, and some great contributions from our loyal and talented newsletter readers! For which many thanks.

Each rhyme has the science lovingly explained so if your little one wants to know more, you can seem like a science genius!

If you would like to write your own science nursery rhyme, do send it in to The Planet Science Editor and she'll compile volume two when she has enough entries.

To print it out and make a booklet, follow these instructions:

First download the PDF from here. The PDF pages have been put in a funny order but it will make sense in the end!

Print the odd pages first and then collate them making sure you do not lose the order of the pages.

Flip them over & place them back into your printers feed tray so the next lot of prints will be on the back of the pages you just printed with both sides orientated upright.

Then print the even pages.

You'll end up with the pages printed like a book and now you simply need to fold them down the centre and staple the pages. (Tip: folding them as a pile rather than individually will give a neater finish, though it is harder to do.)

Nighty night and sweet sciencey dreams!
