2. The Buzz – Science news delivered to your inbox…

This week saw the first woman go into space on holiday, as Anousheh Ansari shot into orbit on Monday. She was on a Russian rocket heading to the International Space Station and it cost her over £10 million! So you can rule that out as your next holiday destination.

The trip will be more than just a relaxing float in space, as she'll also be doing research on back pain. She'll be coming back to Earth on 28 September. Imagine her holiday photos!

Also this week a survey has shown that over 50% of ten year olds own a mobile phone. However, children are being warned to limit the amount of time they spend texting and playing computer games because it could lead to aches and pains in the future.  There is a condition called repetitive strain injury (RSI). It happens when muscles are put under strain by repeating the same movements. Experts say kids' muscles and bones are not fully grown so the extra strain can make them vulnerable to RSI. Think about the kinds of movements your hands and fingers make when texting or playing computer games – now do you see? Everything in moderation eh?
